Science SuperstarsTucked away in labs throughout New Jersey and around the world, teams of scientists are hard at work unlocking the mysteries of life. Far removed from the cheering crowds and roaring headlines, these champions of human and animal health are fighting to win the battle against diseases that kill, disable and impair the quality of life. The men and women engaged in biomedical research are real, everyday heroes, and we are proud to celebrate them and their achievements. We all benefit! NJABR encourages students to connect their own health issues with the work in the laboratory through our "Thank You, Research" Lesson Plan. A key component of the lesson is reading short biographies of Nobel Prize winners from Curiosity is the Key to Discovery - The Story of How Nobel Laureates Entered the World of Science. © 1999-2005 New Jersey Association for Biomedical Research 1477 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083 Ph: (908) 964-9449 Fax: (908) 964-9144 info@njabr.org |
