"Thank You Research" Gala 2005Biomedical Research: Shaping the FutureThursday, November 17, 2005Dear Friends, A warm welcome and a heart-felt "Thank You" to all the guests at NJABR's second annual Thank You Research Gala. This evening we are celebrating Biomedical Research: Shaping the Future. Both the individuals, who act as ambassadors for New Jersey's flourishing biomedical research community, and the member programs that advance scientific literacy play dual roles. They impact on future generations by fostering public understanding and support for the research process. By doing so, they sustain a global enterprise dedicated to improving the health of people and animals in the years to come. The challenges are huge. Yet, the personal and professional commitment we recognize tonight reinforces the belief that ours is a caring community. Individuals and institutions want to make a difference; they are striving to be agents of change for the better. If you are inspired by tonight's program, and without a doubt you will be, you can easily join the legions of men and women, who advocate for continued advances in biomedical research. Simply share your enthusiasm. Talk about the wonderful science educational programs offered in New Jersey and the dedicated people, who devote time and talent to do outreach. Share your pride in the people, the process and the promise of Biomedical Research. Because we care enough to do our very best, future generations may be spared the pain and suffering caused by fatal diseases and debilitating conditions that today are considered incurable and untreatable. Because ours is a caring community, we all stand to benefit. Spread the word! Sincerely, Please select honorees from links to the right to view profiles HONORARY CHAIRS.
