NJABR programs bring together scientific, veterinary, animal care, compliance, communications and policy perspectives. Our goal is useful learning that participants can apply in their institutions and a stronger professional network for sharing what works.

Who attends NJABR Programs

Programs are designed for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, investigators, IACUC members and administrators, animal-care professionals, compliance teams, research leaders, communicators, policy professionals and others who support responsible biomedical research. Individual event descriptions identify the intended audience and any prerequisites.

3Rs Sharing Conference

A cross-disciplinary forum for sharing methods and practices that advance Replacement, Reduction and Refinement while supporting strong, reproducible science.

3Rs Webinar Series

Accessible virtual sessions on emerging methods, research design, animal welfare, environmental variables, reproducibility and policy.

IACUC and Professional Education

Continuing education for IACUC members, administrators, veterinarians, investigators and animal-care professionals, with attention to real-world institutional practice.

Policy and Member Briefings

Timely discussions of legislative, regulatory, legal, communications and security developments affecting the research community.

Student Outreach and Careers

Hands-on science experiences, career conversations and student competitions that introduce young people to the range of professions supporting biomedical discovery and animal care.

Recent Programming

The 2026 Summer Webinar Series explored systems-level neuroscience, organs-on-chips, sex as a biological variable, fit-for-purpose NAM workflows, federal animal research policy, and the effects of environmental variables on welfare and reproducibility.
