Elephant

By Jaleesa Stembridge, Grade 2
P.S. #14, Jersey City

I am gray and love to play
I weigh a ton, I can be lots of fun.
I have a long nose that's similar to a water hose.
My family and I travel in packs
And people sometimes ride on our backs.
If you come by the zoo
Please stop through
To come and see
Me and my family.
I am a thousand times bigger than an ant,
Yes, I am an elephant
