Those Light Brown Eyes

By Brendon Reynolds - Grade 7
Waldwick Junior High School, Waldwick

Those light brown eyes,
The ones that spotted me when I went by,
A stranger
A warrior plundering through the deep snow,
It stares through the white dust,

Those light brown eyes,
The gray haired free,
Those who pass on half-frozen water,
Those who are of the night,

Those light brown eyes,
A misunderstood creature,
A focused mind,

Those light brown eyes
A pack of paladins,

Those eyes stared,
As the crowd welcomes them home,
And the wolf stares,
With those light brown eyes,

And I know that those light brown eyes,
Are just dreams
As I opened my eyes.
