The Lone Wolf

By Jeremy Wheatley - Grade 7
Waldwick Middle School, Waldwick

The lone wolf
He laughs at his domesticated brothers as he runs free.
His brothers loved by all and he is hated and feared.
The moonlight runs through his furlike fingertips on an invisible hand.
He runs silently through the fields as the farmers shoot at him.
He is free yet hated and he doesn't care.
