For today is Adoption Day At our local Pet-a-Farm, Gee, I hardly can wait To hold a little puppy in my arms. It's time the gate is open, I could hear the puppies cry, They would wonder who would take them home And tell you the truth, so did I. As I hurried through the bunch There was one that caught my eye, For he was all alone And just about to cry. Just then I saw a tear drop down, His tiny little eye.
