Bichon Frise

By Kaitlyn Probasco
New Egypt Middle School

I wish I could have a Bichon Frise, with white puffy fur and dark eyes someday.

Unfortunately I cough, sneeze, and wheeze, but still I beg my parents please, please, please.

Week after week shots I endure, until the time comes when hives are no more.

Days, weeks, months go by, but I still can't shake the watery eye.

I dream of the day I'll be free at last, and we can run through the flowers, the weeds, the grass.

Your small bouncy body and big puppy paws will follow me always without a pause.

Active, cheerful, friendly you'll be wagging tail, cold nose and wet tongue will greet me!

We'll cuddle and nuzzle and rub noses too, that's when my dreams will really come true.
