Lonely PuppyBy Megna KhatriGrade 7, Nicholas Copernicus, P.S. #25 I'm a little puppy, so sweet and small Sitting alone in a nearby shopping mall Wishing someone would take me home And brush my fur with their little comb I am very lonely when all the lights go out I whimper in the corner and even try to shout But no one comes to hold me Even though I wish it to be No one can hear my cries and my desperate plea So alone I will stay in a shopping mall Desperately roaming through the hall Will anyone come to set me free? Or will I die with my last frantic plea? © 1999-2005 New Jersey Association for Biomedical Research 1477 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083 Ph: (908) 964-9449 Fax: (908) 964-9144 info@njabr.org |
